Pumpkin Patch Fun!

The last couple of years we missed the pumpkin patch experience because we simply didn't want to drive the 1.5 to 2 hours it takes to get there. The boys have been asking to go so this week we finally found a close pumpkin patch. It was quite small in comparison to others we have been to, but we had a blast.

The boys enjoyed the animals at the petting zoo. Jake especially loved them and even learned to say "bauk, bauk" to the chickens. We loved the mini pigs too!

The boys loved the little train ride, jumping on the hay bales and sliding in the corn bin. We also found our way through the mini corn maze.

The price of pumpkins were pretty reasonable and there were no lines or crowds. All in all we had some fun and were home within 2.5 -3 hours, including drive time.
