We always spend Christmas Eve with the Richards.
We get together and have a "surprise meal" which consists of each family bringing 2 items. No one knows what else is being prepared. It is always a ton a food that may or may not go together, but it always tastes great!
After dinner the kids get to open presents from the aunt/uncle and nana/papa. Usually everyone goes way overboard, but this year we put out a 2 gift limit per kid, per family.
The boys all got R/C cars from Shelley and Glen.
Derek got a "Cadillac" Baker Skateboard from his grandparents. Carsen got a big wheel and Jake got Fisher-Price Raceway.
Once we got home, we charged the R/C batteries and got on our jammies. But, before the boys settled in for bed, Carsen made sure he left Santa with his "must have" list.

Derek & Carsen prepared Santa a snack and one for the reindeer too! What a spread!
Finally they cuddled up in bed and hopefully they will soon be asleep so Santa can come!
