Last year I got spa gift certificates for Christmas from Mike and my parents...then for my birthday, I got more gift certificates from my sisters. The idea was put together that we should have a "Spa Weekend"...just us...no boys or kids!! Shanna and Richelle put to together and it was tons-o-fun!! We decided that we needed to do "Spa Weekend" on a regular basis...which on our budget means once a year :)
This year, "Spa Weekend" couldn't wait until June, when Arizona resort prices drop, because Pretty Carol will either be so close to actually having the twins (Tyler and Tyson) that she won't A) be comfortable in any position or B) she won't be able to waddle around the spa in a robe a slippers.
So...we moved up the date!! I sent out an e-mail...thinking we could do it in May, but none of the "girls" responded...or acted interested!! So the three pretty girls decided to go just the three of us...
Last year we had "Spa Weekend" at the Princess...this year we changed it up and booked our treatments at The Wigwam. Next year's location has already been set: Camelback!!
We each got a pedicure and a manicure...Richelle and I each got a massage and Carol scheduled a facial!! We laid by the pool, dipped our legs in the hot tub, and relaxed in the "relaxing" area.
We had planned to eat at The Melting Pot after our day of pampering, but were too tired/relaxed to want to get all dressed up...so we ordered take out from Carrabba's instead and stopped by Dairy Queen on
