Tonight we went swimming at Nana and Grumpaw's. We had so much fun playing in the pool with a big volcano that squirts out water and playing catch in the water too. The boys seemed to have the most fun trying to boogie board "all the way to China" when Nana jumped into the pool from the waterfall, making big waves for the boys. She jumped off using different techniques to try to make the waves larger and larger for the boys. It was very fun.
After swimming Grumpaw is always waiting for the boys with a treat. Tonight it was big chocolate chip cookies. YUM!
On the way home Carsen told us this...
"Mom. I saw something mysterious in Nana's back yard."
"It was tracks from a Mountain Lion I think."
"We have Mountain Lions around here you know because we do have some mountains."
"Nana and Papa won't be scared though, will they, because they have blinds and they keep them closed."
I love the innocence and the practicality of a 5 year old.

We're not afraid because our little missionaries leave dinosaurs and snakes and tigers to protect us. We love them very much (the boys.) Nana and Papa and Raelynn
