Derek has been begging to take Buster, our beagle, to the local dog park. So tonight the weather was gorgeous and most likely the last night of good weather til November, so we gave in and went.
Buster is not a frequent traveler because EVERY time we take him in the car, he pukes. It is nasty!!! On the way there he did pretty well, with just a tiny bit of puke. I was excited for my car and my clean-up.
The boys had the best time running all around the park and meeting new dogs and playing fetch and climbing on stuff. Right as we were about to leave 2 "Polar Bear" dogs arrived. The boys were so excited and loved to pet them.
On the ride home, Buster's tummy was much more upset and he made a huge mess. Luckily, Derek and Anthony cleaned it up and the car is as good as new.
Needless to say, that was our first, and last trip to the dog park.

If it makes you feel any better...the more you take them for car rides the less sick they get. Yes, I am speaking for experience..it is not fun, but eventually they can handle car rides. Good luck :-)
I'm with Merry...you have to take them often or it's puke every time!!
