Sweet, innocent, loving children definately know their parents long before expected. Does anyone care to take a guess at what age a child knows and cares when his parents enter or exit a room? I would have guessed 10-12 months. I guess I am wrong. Today Jake spent the day with Betty becuase I had to work. He was happy and content doing his thing until I stopped by to drop Carsen off. I walked into the house and from across the room said hi to Jake who was swinging peacefully. I talk to him for a minute and then kissed him goodbye. Betty reports that once the door closed the screaming began. Neither she nor her son were able to comfort him for more than 30 minutes. All he wanted was his mama (and probably the mams too!) Can you blame him?
