Birthdays

Birthdays are always fun, especially when you are 39. Many people claim to be 39, but this time it's true. Anthony celebrated with his parents, in-laws, sister, her spouse, many kids under 6 and Raelynn, who could be lumped in with the later category, but deserves special mention. I was wrapping Anthony's gifts this afternoon when Carsen came in to check on me. He immediately wanted to help. He helped alright. The tape was from one end of the room to the other and the package still wasn't wrapped. Once that activity was wrapped up, he went to his room and collected all of his favortite animals. He proceeded to roll those animals in all the gift wrap we owned. I was surprized that he didn't go ask the neighbors to borrow some of theirs. In the end, Carsen also chose to blow ahead of the birthday boy and unwrap the gifts before his father could. At least Anthony gets to keep his gifts, oops no Carsen took all the gifts and put them back on his bed. What a great birthday anyway. Being a dad ROCKS!
