Today we had a busy day. It began this morning with Derek getting his cast off.
Then the boys all got to go swimming with Nana and Grumpaw. After their swim Grumpaw took Derek to his first day of Cub Scout Day Camp.
So while he was gone, we decided to take advantage of only having two kids. We got Wendy's, went to the park for a picnic and then played at the splash pad. It was a little windy out so the boys were a little chilly, but they definitely had fun. When they weren't getting wet, they were looking at the ducks in the lake around the splash pad.
Our house is so quite and peaceful with just two. Really it doesn't which one is gone, anyone will do.
We plan to have a lot more fun the next few nights while Derek is off learning to shoot BB guns, bow and arrows, swimming, crafting and having water fights with lots of other smelly boys!
