Quarter of a Pipe?

Friday morning I found an ad from Craig's List that Anth had printed on Thursday night. The item listed on the print out was a quater pipe (for skateboarding). Anth thought Derek might like it for his birthday (on the 10th,) so I called on it. The man on the other end of the phone said that his son had only used it for a couple months and then decided he wasn't a skater afterall.

I drove out to look at it and it was in perfect shape! We loaded it up in the mom-mobile and brought it home. Carsen and I set it up in the driveway so when Derek got home from school, he would be surprised by the early birthday present!

He was EXCITED to say the least. He jumped out of the window (of the mom-mobile) and his screaming could be heard for miles. He grabbed his skateboard and went down the ramp and he made it on his first attempt. He is a great skater. Our little Tony Hawk rode all afternoon, all evening and all day Saturday. It was a great investment.
