Big Day with Jake

Today was a day for me to spend all my time and energy with Jake.

Our morning started out with a trip to the asthma/allergy doctor. Jake is now on multiple medications to help his lungs function properly.



After dropping off all the prescriptions at the pharmacy, we went over to Nana and Grumpaw's house where we picked fruit and ate it while we played in the back yard. When we went inside, Jake helped Nana finish making a batch of yummy homemade bread.



When we were both exhausted, we went home so Jake could take a nice nap on my bed.


Once the brothers arrived home from school, we all loaded into the mom mobile to get haircuts and donuts. As you can see from the multiple cowlicks, Jake really needed a haircut.






This time he didn't get his usual "little boys hair cut" he got his first "big boy hair cut".
