Last week we were thrilled to be invited to the White House for Tea and Cookies.
Derek, I mean George H W Bush, gave us a personal invitation.
The Legend Springs 2nd grade all researched a president and then dresses like them, told facts about them and then sane several patriotic songs.
We really learned a lot about old George.
1. He was the captain of the Varsity Baseball team at Yale
2. He signed the Americans with Disabilities Act while in office
3. Had a daughter that died of Leukemia as a young child.
4. He was the youngest Pilot in the Navy during WWII.
Just to name a few...
