Honeymoon - Day 3 - Coach, Pineapple & Chickens

So…last night we walked back from dinner and got into the elevator with another couple and their strollered child. The hubby was carrying something very specific…something that only ONE store sells…it was white bag with an orangey red writing.

YEPPER!! A Coach Factory Store!! How is it that Hawaii has one, but Arizona does not? If they ONLY had retail here…isn’t that’s what people would purchase? ..the option for traveling to another state to go to a factory store is much smaller..??

We did our time share blah blah…and then picked up a rental car. Thanks to Garmin, we were driving like locals in no time…kinda. After a quick visit at the Factory…we drove to North Shore to catch some waves!!

Awesome Dude!!

Okay…seriously…we just sat and watched. But the views were beautiful and the waves were large.

We happen to pass by the Dole Pineapple Farm? Factory? Plantation?...and went into the little store. We opt'd not to take the tour, but we did partake in the yummy pineapple ice cream!! It was SO good!! They had an entire menu of food made from or with pineapple. Some sounded interesting and some just sounded like a nasty stretch of someone's imagination.

For dinner, we found a “shrimp truck” on the side of the road. Kinda scary…but the shrimp was excellent. Mike and I shared coconut shrimp and garlic something or other shrimp. It was delicious...way better than our wannabe turkey sandwiches we had for lunch in the car. Why did we agree to save $$ and make a picnic?? :) Anyhoo...while we ate, Mike was attacked by the wild chickens & roosters that were running around. It was dang funny....and we should have taken pictures. Not only of the chickens attacking Mike's feet...but of the chickens RUNNING from the roosters!! We laughed so hard watching the roosters try to "seduce" the chickens...and the chickens wanting NOTHING to do with the roosters!! Ah...guess you had to be there. :)

Tomorrow…Pearl Harbor, Punchbowl and anything else that pops into view.
