Honeymoon – Day 6 – Hawaii Five O

This morning we headed out to see all of Oahu. We have seen a lot of the Island this week, but we knew there was a lot of Oahu to take in before leaving. We headed…yeah…I honestly don’t know which direction we started to drive…maybe south?

Ok…so we DROVE along the coast. We passed Hanauma Bay (but never did snorkel), went to Sandy Beach, walked along an unknown beach that was gorgeous, made our way to North Shore, enjoyed yummy pie at Ted’s Bakery before we took our dinner from the same place to Sunset Beach for a picnic. We watched some of the huge waves as we sat on the beach…and were then rained on to the point of leaving.

As we made our way back to Waikiki, we passed the Dole Plantation. We were SO excited to get another helping of Pineapple Ice cream!! But they were closed!! We missed our snack by about 20 minutes!! Good things we had that pie before dinner...

We spent the evening packing for our trip to Kauai…making pizza in our kitchenette and just hanging out. The TV at the hotel SUCKS…we found a place to rent DVD’s, but there was NO DVD player…we thought we’d just get pay-per-view, but there was NO option for that. So we watched a lot of nothing. I guess it’s a good thing we were able to keep ourselves busy all week…even without a TV.
