Getting to the hotel early enough to spend some time at the pool = pretty good idea...almost makes up for stupidity of waking up at 2:30am to make the 5am international flight...leaving 10 minutes late...having to turn around to get forgotten cell phone...driving 110mph to make international flight that leaves at 5am.
Being forced to park in the garage that says Maximum $25 per day = SMART idea to make plane that leaves at 5am...DUMB idea for check book 9 days later.
Upgrading to the room with the pool/slide combo outside our balcony door = VERY SMART with no explanation needed...
Buying Mike a camera for his birthday = annoying!! He NEVER stops taking my picture!! If he doesn't come home with that damn camera...it's with the fishes out to sea!! They aren't even good pictures...they are BAD...like when I'm asleep, or sweating, or....
NOT changing cell phone to international plan = still unknown...I haven't made any calls, but it says "roaming" every chance it gets...so I am kind of afraid :(
Falling asleep before 5pm = NO CHOICE when there was only 35 minutes of sleep before waking up at 2:30am to make the flight that left at 5am. I didn't wake up for many, many hours. It was very, very nice.
Spending 9 days in paradise with the man of my dreams = priceless

wow what a crazy first day. if you parked in the regular covered parking where people just park to pick someone up then if you "loose" your ticket they can only charge you for 1 day...not sure if that is true or not but hey, beats 9 days right?!
